250 Greenwich Street - 7 World Trade Center

Tishman Construction served as Construction Manager at Risk for 7 World Trade Center, a 52-story, 1.7-million-square-foot office building in New York City. This was the first tower to be rebuilt after 9/11 and replaced the original building, also constructed by Tishman Construction. The project was the first office tower in New York City to achieve the LEED® Gold certification. Tishman Construction used a steel-first construction methodology, enabling the concrete core work to proceed at an uninhibited pace, thereby shortening the overall schedule and facilitating the erection of one floor per week. During the peak of construction, more than 1,000 workers per day were being supervised on-site.
